Learn how to fish with expert instructors. All equipment provided. No experience is necessary.

Join us for a fun-filled Family Fishing Day, where Cub Scouts will learn essential fishing skills while emphasizing safety. Participants will rotate through instructional stations covering fishing equipment, rigging tackle, selecting baits and lures, and an introduction to conservation and stewardship. Scouts will gain a fundamental understanding of fishing regulations and their importance.

Scouts BSA can also work towards earning their Fishing, Fly Fishing, and Fish and Wildlife Management Merit Badges. Counselors will be on hand throughout the day to provide guidance, answer questions, and sign off on blue cards. Scouts with prior fishing and conservation training may register as instructors. Each scout must attend with a parent, guardian, or two registered leaders. Loaner bait and tackle kits will be available for adult leaders and instructors. So that you know, meals will not be provided.
