We have 2 categories for the awards:
CLASSIC - the BSA rules apply (click the RULES below)
OUTLAW - the only rules are it must fit on the track and cannot contain anything prohibited on school grounds
Each category has the following Pack-wide awards, for 10+ in all:

All entries start with the Official Grand Prix Pinewood Derby Kit which includes the body, 4 axles, and 4 wheels.
All 9 pieces MUST be used before the car can race
The kits will be provided by Pack 196
Cars may not exceed 5 ounces in weight and must conform to certain size restrictions and specifications
Designing and decorating the cars is up to the imagination of the Scouts with the guidance of adults
